Christie Lake S.T.A.R. Program Volunteers

Become a weekly S.T.A.R. Program Volunteer!

S.T.A.R. Program Volunteers:

• Help out weekly at one of our S.T.A.R. programs
• Work with other dedicated and experienced staff and volunteers
• Work closely with kids one-on-one and in small groups
• Make a commitment of 1-2 hrs per week for 3-4 months

Qualifications:

• Enjoys kids
• Skills in the instructional area
  (e.g. swimming, skating, computers, etc.)

What programs need volunteers?

• West End : Tutoring, “Rockers” (games and group activities), skating, hockey, swimming
• East End : Computers, Basketball, Pottery, Swimming

How to apply:

• Contact one of our S.T.A.R. coordinators at the office (613-742-6922).
• We provide orientation and training for new volunteers.
