Christie Lake Camp Junior Staff
This summer, work as a Junior Staff!
The Junior Staff Program:
- Is CLC's “counsellor-in-training” program for
first-year staff members
- Is free of cost – you'll even get a small honorarium
- Runs from mid June to Mid August, with two 4-day breaks
- Makes you a full-fledged staff member
- Can complete your hours of community service for secondary school
- Earns you certifications in swimming (Bronze Med, etc.), first aid, canoeing, camping and more – free
- Gives you hands-on, intensive training in counselling skills for all kinds of kids, even the most difficult to handle. This is excellent preparation for any future career with kids or with other social services.
Qualifications:
- 15-19 years old
- Excited to work with kids, and ready for a fun summer
- Experience with kids and with skills such as swimming and first aid is recommended, but not absolutely necessary
