Give Your Time: There are many ways you can make a difference in the life of Ottawa's many children living in poverty. Christie Lake is only able to provide such amazing opportunities to these children because of you. Each of our programs requires caring and engaged volunteers to help nurture, teach and support the participants, we have many short term for volunteers too. Please take a look at the Volunteer tab above for more information about how you can be a part of bringing opportunity to the lives of children who have few.
Give Your Expertise or Supplies: At CLK we are committed to keeping our overhead costs very low, which means we count on community members to help us through in kind gifts.
- Have a special skill you would like to share? If you are a photographer, videographer, designer, cook, or have another skill you would like to share please let us know!
- Have access to items on our wish list? We would so appreciate your help! We can provide a tax deductible receipt for most items on this list, if requested!
Alumni: We'd like to hear from you! Please join our Alumni Program and share your favourite camp stories, how CLK has played a role in your life... tell us why Christie Lake Kids matters to you. We may share your story (anonymously if you prefer) in our newsletter or in other ways.
